About Us

Our Story of Growth and Impact

Kitutu Masaba Technical and Vocational College (KMTVC) was established as a public TVET institution under the Ministry of Education, State Department for Technical and Vocational Education and Training. The college was founded to provide accessible, affordable, and quality technical training to the youth of Nyamira County and beyond, in line with Kenya’s Vision 2030 and the national skills development agenda.

The institution opened its doors to the first cohort of trainees in 2021, offering competency-based and modular programs aimed at producing skilled artisans, craftsmen, and technologists for the growing labor market.

Since its inception, Kitutu Masaba TVC has steadily grown in enrollment, infrastructure, and program diversity. The college continues to strengthen its partnerships with industries, local communities, and development agencies to enhance work-based learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship among trainees.

Today, Kitutu Masaba TVC stands as a Centre of Excellence in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and remains committed to empowering youth with lifelong skills for development that contribute to personal growth and national transformation.
